Flowmeter for open channels produced by Hydro-Eco-Invest is reliable device used in settling systems in sewage treatment.

This device was used in hundreds of installations in communal administration and in industry. The unit is still upgraded i.e. the measurements’ quality is increased and data access is improved.

Flowmeter system

Flowmeters for open channels CRP-04 is designed to measure flow of liquid in:

• channels with sewage before and after treatment
• average or supplementary channels in sewage treatment plants
• factory’s outflow channels
• dump’s effluents collectors
• rivers and channels

Basic functions of flowmeter

Flowmeter for open channels is able:

• to convert a level of dammed up liquid to the instantaneous value of flow
• to transform the instantaneous value of flow to standard analog or impulse signal
• to balance and registry quantity of flowing medium for 240 hours, 32 shifts, 32 days and 32 months
• to control, signal and registry an excess of maximal values of flow
• to control the system of coagulation in function of flow
• to cooperate with automatic sample collector
• to cooperate with computer through RS 232C or RS 485 MODBUS RTU

Integral part of flowmeter is also measurement box with power supply and supertension protection.

CRP - 04

Measurement counter-register CRP-04

Description

CRP-04 is an universal registering device with sophisticated functions used to process and store data. One of its applications is to be a counter in set of devices which measures flow of sewage. Instantaneous values of flow and periodical balances are used to measure quantity of sewage.

Calculation of measured values

CRP-04 has up to four measurement inputs. To enable cooperation with different converters, the user can determine range of measured values and range of analog signal 4-20mA. Primary measured values are calculated according to the programmed non-linear relations (flow equations).

Binary outputs

CRP-04 has four binary outputs. Each of them is independently programmable. The outputs can work in the following modes:

• signalling an excess
• control of dosing pump
• counting of volume

Analog outputs

For two measurement channels, the values of flow calculated by CRP-04 can be converted to standard analog signals 4-20mA. The linear relation of output current and measured value can be programmed for each analog outputs.

Comunication with computer

Using RS 232C or RS 485 MODBUS RTU interface, CRP-04 can communicate with computer, which can read all data and enables on-line programming of the device. Software e-FlowNet can be provided together with the flowmeter. The software enables remote control and visualization.
