Application The flow and energy computer for steam CRP – 05 – P is dedicated for measurement systems installed in heat distribution networks and in technological installations where steam is the medium. CRP – 05 – P can work as an autonomous measurement system or can be included into greater monitoring system with data multi-access.
CRP - 05 - P This device was constructed not only as the standard measurement and registering unit but also to enable precise control of every thermodynamical parameter of a steam stream installation. It is designed to calculate:
Measurements’ and calculations’ precision CRP - 05 - P realizes analog measurements using 24-bits A/C converter of the sigma-delta type. Software provides calibration of current and resistant measurement inputs according to the temperature. This enables proper performance of the unit in a wide range of temperatures. Software adjusts A/C converters during operation and eliminates an offset. Besides the measurement precision itself, an advantage of CRP - 05 is that instead of look-up table the special thermodynamic computer is used, which calculates on-line every necessary parameters of the medium. The device automatically adapts methods of calculation to the medium’s state (dry steam, saturated steam or water), so the user need not to know precisely range of parameters while ordering the unit. Data access An internal data base is created in CRP – 05 flash memory, where every calculated values (balances, average and current values and summators) with its time markers are stored. An access to this base as well as to current computer reading is possible from device’s desktop or on-line, using digital interface. User can access the following information:
Communication CRP - 05 - P is equipped with serial interface RS 232 or RS 485 (MODBUS RTU) which enables transmission of data to the supervision system. There are number of methods of connecting CRP – 05 to the supervision system. HYDRO-ECO-INVEST offers some products which are useful to design of the heat energy monitoring systems, for example:
