CRP-05 Simulator® - Interface and available options description
|
Main window The appearance of CRP-05 Simulator main window depends on the user chosen options and parameters. Different number of sliders enabling a change of simulated values appear in the window according to the medium type and flow measurement variant. Units of simulated values and parameters are also different. During simulation for gases for example, the user gets values of the mass flow. Additionally, for water or steam, he also gets information about emitted energy per hour.
(move the mouse over the image to see more details) There are some buttons in the main window providing user with other program possibilities. CRP-05 Simulator enables to fit the simulation conditions to the real situation. Analogically to the CRP-05® computer it is possible to define and choose measurement variants and parameters. There are some extra limitations in the real device, according to the programmed parameters in measurement transmitters, precision of pipeline realization, materials etc. Most of the limitations do not exist in the simulator, so it is possible to test the real device also in some critical situations, when the values of some parameters are above secure level. Options button The button opens options window where the user sets the parameters of simulation and choose one of the four measurement variants. Program can simulate measurements with gorget, ISA nozzle, annubar or volume flowmeters. It is possible to simulate measurements on one pipeline or on inlet and outlet with three different configurations. According to the user choice, different number of sliders can be obtained in the main window to set measured values. The user can also define here the type of measured medium. For the steam, program calculates parameters of water and steam according to IAPWS-IF97 procedures. It changes the phase automatically. Disabling IF 97 procedure coses switching to IFC-67 procedure. Simulation of gas flow can be done in normal or other conditions. When the user sets gas mixture, he can define its composition. It is also possible to simulate and set all the parameters of measurements for petroleum-derived fuel. Parameters button This button opens window for parameters definitions. The window appearance depends on chosen options. The user defines range of changes for each simulated values, diameter of pipelines and relative change of environment temperature. It is also possible to set ordered power and other parameters necessary to calculate enthalpy or output power for inlet and outlet measurements. Program enables setting parameters of flow transmitter. It is necessary to calculate measurement uncertainty. The user can define the parameters manually or can use default parameters. In the second case, user can chose transmitters of following marks:
The procedures use parameters of transmitter connection through HARTTM protocol. Program uses measurements of pressures difference, static pressure and temperature in case of 3095 transmitter. Flow is calculated by CRP-05®. Balances sheet button This button opens table window, where actual measured values, calculated flows and time balances can be stored. The user can copy these data or print them. Pressing Balance button coses data saving even if the window is hidden (the button is on the main window). This enables comparing balances for different time ranges and values of measurements. All data are erased after the window is closed. Measurement variants >>
